We went to the rodeo yesterday. Shane got tickets from his work and we decided to take the kids. When we got there we watched the cowboys do their thing and then they did it again. I guess it was the championship night so they had the semi-finals for 5 events and then they started again and did the finals. So it took twice as long as we were expecting. By the end of it the kids were done sitting in the stadium and didn't want to stay for the concert, Brooks and Dunn. We watched about 3 or 4 songs and then left for the carnival. When we got outside it was crazy! There was so many people. We didn't do any rides because the lines were just too long. We did see a dog show and the girls got to go up and take pictures with the little doggies. Of course they loved it.
We then did a free farm attraction which had no one in line for it. I thought that that was a bit crazy, all the money rides had long lines and the free attraction had no one. It was cute you walked through this path where you could help the farmer. You started by getting an apron and bucket. Then you did things like...

feeding the (fake) chickens and milking the cow (water squirted out)...
collecting wool from the sheep...

playing around a little bit...
and planting seeds.
At the end of the path, there was a market you could sell you good to for a "dollar" and then a store where you could buy a treat. They had stuff like a little box of cereal, a bag of chips, raisins, and a juice box. That is when I was really surprised that there was no line, not only was it a free attraction but they gave you something at the end of it. The girls had a great time.
