Well, our little Ella is growing up. This is a picture of Ella with her new glasses. Too cute! Sunday at church, Ella was coloring pictures for people that were sitting around us. After she finished a picture I told her she needed to write her name on it and made dots on her paper for her to trace her name. She did and then gave the picture away. When she was done with her next picture I told her that she needed to write her name on that one too. She just looked at me then started writing her name without my help. I was so amazed. She gave the picture away. I wanted to ask them for it back since it was the first time she wrote her name without any help but I didn't. So yesterday I got out a piece of paper and marker and told her to write her name on it. And this is what she did...
... that's pretty good for a 3 1/2 year old, right? It's not just me being a crazy mom, right? Well in any case I was proud of her and thought I would share. :) What a big girl she is turning out to be.

I don't even think my stepson who just turned 5 can do that! Way to go Ella! :)
michelle, those glasses are adorable and writing her name already, yes she is such a smarty. gabriel can dot to dot his name, but still has a hard time even writing it when I help him. my mom told me a funny story about ella "performing" for everyone. she sounds like a cute girl. maybe we will live close when we move to katy. have a fab day!
